    Meals on Wheels

The order of the day (Meals-On-Wheels) was to ensure that 120 frail elderly received their dinner on time. All 30 of us from Team Futuristic and Team Heliconia managed to successfully deliver all the meals within the stipulated timeframe from 3pm – 6pm. Giving back to our community has always been at the heart of our company. We believe in impacting the residents around our workplace in the little ways that we can. If you would like to learn more about the Meals on Wheels project which we had done with Touch Home Care, and would like to volunteer your time, do call 6804 6565 or email, homecare@touch.org.sg.

The World Vision’s Child Sponsorship Programme

This year Futuristic decided to spread a little joy to kids in Cambodia and Vietnam. We have decided to sponsor 10 children through World Vision. Our company strongly advocates education and elimination of poverty by helping communities. This is us taking a stand to contribute towards these causes that we feel strongly for.

The World Vision’s Child Sponsorship Programme tackles the root causes of poverty in the lives of children, families and their communities, empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency. By sponsoring a child monthly, you can provide the child basic needs in five areas: food security, water and sanitation, health and nutrition, education and economic development. Resources are pooled together for community projects that cover these needs. Additionally, you will get to correspond with your sponsored child, and visit the community where your child lives and meet him/her face-to-face! For more information on sponsoring a child please visit : http://www.worldvision.org.sg/ways-to-give/sponsor-a-child/
